Reviewing 5 best-selling Cat and The Fiddle Cheesecakes that our team tried. Ranking from the best Oreo Cheesecake.
1. “The Modern Duke’s Pudding” – Oreo Cheesecake

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
Price: $48.90 for 7″ cheesecake
The “Modern Duke’s Pudding”, is basically an Oreo Cheesecake, a fail-proof pairing of rich crunchy chocolate oreo cookies and cream cheese.
When has Oreo ever gone wrong! Just imagine Mcdonald’s Mcflurry in full cake form, YUMMY!
2. “Over The Moon” – New York Cheesecake

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Price: $45.90 for 7″ cheesecake
Cute! We absolutely love the appearance of the New York Cheesecake, don’t you think the little dots resemblance a huge block of cheddar cheese instead of the moon?
Taste-wise, we thought that with a classic new york cheesecake, we would expect more from the graham base since it’s paired with pure cream cheese. Maybe a little more buttery fragrance and a tinge more crusty texture for the base would be perfect!
3. Milo Dinosaur Cheesecake

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Price: $48.90 for 7″ cheesecake
OMG Milo Dinosaur! Whoever hates Milo Dinosaur, we can’t be friends.
The national favourite mamak stall drink, whoever thought of infusing a local touch onto Cheesecake, is a true genius.
The missing 1 star is for people who can differentiate the difference between Australia and Malaysia Milo powder, one being extra chocolatey, another extra milky. We prefer the extra chocolatey Australian milo powder and thought it would provide a stronger chocolate touch for the already milk-creamy cheesecake.
(Do expect a little powdery mess – we got the first-hand experience because we dip our heads in to savor the fragrance and choke on the powder, please don’t do this LOL. )
4. Maneki Neko – Tangy Lemon & Yuzu Cheesecake

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
Price: $58.90 for 7″ cheesecake
If you’re a fan of tangy citrus flavors, this cheesecake is for you. This cheesecake is a creamier version of those fluffy Japanese cheesecakes.
Tangy and tarty, you never would have thought it would go so well together. We really love the nice tinge of citrus aroma, however, we gathered mixed reviews from our team, those who love refreshing cakes would love it. Those who are not a fan of this cake suggested that lemons just don’t go well with cream cheese.
Overall, rating for this cake is still great! Try it for yourself to decide!
5. King Cat of the Mountain – Durian (Mao Shan Wang)

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3~3.5/5)
Price: $58.90 for 7″ cheesecake
Maybe we’re a little biased because we specialize in Durian Cakes and were expecting a lot more from the highly raved national favorite.
The overall appearance and taste is definitely passable. We thought the durian taste could be stronger, but maybe it’s made lighter to ensure it doesn’t overwhelm the cream cheese goodness.
Considering a stronger Durian Cheesecake?
